Description
Medieval crossbow, 14th century, incl. 1 wooden bolt
This intricately constructed replica of a 14th century crossbow was built with a steel bow and a wooden stock. The bow, the trigger, the rolling bolt (also called "nut") and all other fittings were also made of steel.
This medieval crossbow includes a wooden bolt with a blackened steel Bodkin tip.
Please note: This replica medieval crossbow, made with only a degree of functionality, is not suitable for marksmanship training, nor for exhibition combat. This crossbow has been crafted with care and makes a nice display piece for historical weapon collections, decoration, or a medieval-themed accessory. Due to the cocking action and the sharp tip of the bolt, this crossbow is subject to an age restriction - so it is intended for adults only.
