Description

Hand-forged medieval hasp made of iron

The rustic forged hasp is forged from iron. The hasp is well suited for medieval chests, cabinets in country house or vintage style, Viking or pirate chests or even doors. The rustic, black color of this hinge makes it suitable for many periods and styles. The outwardly curved ends give the hasp an elegant touch. The medieval hinge can be opened up to approx. 300°, at 180° it has a total length of approx. 23 cm (9.1 inches). The large opening on one side of the hasp is prepared for the cramp, to which a lock could be attached. There are two holes on the other side which are intended for fastening with nails.

Lock and nails are not included, but can be purchased separately in our store: Padlock e.g. VM001008 and nails e.g. VM000036.
