The LARP Viking Shield embodies steadfastness, protection, and the unyielding will of Nordic warriors. As a classic round shield, it is based on historical models from the Viking Age and is ideal for authentic representations at LARP events, medieval markets, or reenactments. With a diameter of approx. 60 cm (23.6 inches) and a thickness of around 2 cm (0.8 inches), the shield offers reliable protection in combat without being unnecessarily heavy. Weighing around 1.8 kg (4 lbs), it is comfortable to use even during longer periods of use, such as in a shield wall or in intense combat scenes. Made of sturdy polyurethane foam, the shield combines a durable construction with the safety required for LARP.
The front is designed in a classic red color scheme and features a realistic wood look, which is interspersed with subtle battle marks, giving the shield a credible, battle-hardened appearance. A decorative metal plate, the surrounding shield rim, and the striking steel-look shield boss emphasize the authentic Viking look. On the back, dimensionally stable struts made of PU foam provide additional stability.
