High quality 72 inch long bowstring for longbows made of Dacron with Flemish splice, good for traditional archers.

Longbow string 72 inch, Dacron, Flemish splice

The Flemish splice is made with a special twisting technique. The ears are not divided here (as with the endless tendon), but the individual strands are spliced out (splice = connection of the individual strands by braiding). This tendon still gives a little at the beginning of use, since the splice still has to settle down a bit. For this reason, the nocking point should only be temporarily attached to Flemish-pleated bowstrings (nocking point = point on the string where the arrow is "nocked").
