Brown medieval belt pouch

The medieval kidney pouch combines historical authenticity with everyday practicality. The classic kidney shape was widespread from the High to the Late Middle Ages – it fits ergonomically around the hip, follows the body’s natural movements and always sits securely without swaying or slipping. Two wide leather straps on the back allow for easy attachment to almost any belt, whether worn over a robe, tunic or cloak.

Inside, the bag offers a spacious main compartment with plenty of room for a wallet, smartphone, small prop or a snack for a long day at the market. Two sewn-in inner pockets allow for the separate storage of coins, keys or delicate items. The flap with fastening tabs reliably protects the contents from the weather and prying eyes. The decoratively engraved front panel – available with either a floral or striped pattern – adds an elegant touch without being obtrusive, making the bag a stylish accessory for all character types: nobles, scholars, merchants or ordinary travellers.
