Hagen Men’s Shirt with Leather Trim

The Hagen shirt is a short-sleeved men’s shirt featuring genuine leather appliqués – a garment that has its origins in the Viking and High Medieval periods. Back then, everyday clothing was often made from coarse woven fabrics and adorned with handcrafted details that signified affiliation and craftsmanship. This shirt draws on this aesthetic and translates it into a wearable piece for the market, LARP events and re-enactments.

Made from 100% cotton, the shirt feels comfortable against the skin, even when worn for long periods at the market or during summer camp life. The laced collar with metal eyelets can be individually adjusted and gives the shirt its characteristic medieval look. A special design feature is the cuffs with riveted bands made of genuine leather – a handcrafted detail that lends the garment structure and a distinctive look. The straight fit makes the shirt easy to combine, for example with simple trousers or under a doublet.
