Roman scale armor Lorica Squamata, which was a typical armor in the imperial Roman cavalry. More than 30 different forms and types have been found in Carnuntum, the capital of the Roman province of Pannonia. This is a short scale armor, which was used from about 100 to 250 A.D. Roman scale armor, Lorica Squamata is laced at the neck collar and sides with leather straps.
