A metal winch, which is used to tension massive and difficult to tension crossbows. The winch is attached to the crossbow, the string is hooked and tensioned with the help of the winch and the attached ropes.

This winch fits perfectly to our crossbow of the 14th century (item number 0616510400), but can also be used for other crossbows without any problems.
