The so called Thames Seax or Beagnoth's Seax is a replica of an original dated to the 9th century. It was found in the river Thames in London in 1857. Today it is exhibited in the British Museum.

An interesting piece as rune insignias are unusual for seax finds but this seax has the anglo-american futhark written on it, followed by the name "Beagnoth". Nobody knows how or what Beagnoth was but it is assumed that Beagnoth was the name of the owner or the blacksmith.

The seax comes with a leather scabbard with 2 beltloops.
