Late medieval overdress Surcot Andra brown
In combination with an underdress this loosely cut overdress offers a good basis for a late medieval outfit. It was made of strong canvas fabric. The hem is trimmed with a fine cotton fabric. The generously cut armholes reach to the hips. A dress from the 14th century served as a model for the cut.
Dates medieval dress:
- Material: 100% cotton
- Total length for size M: approx. 150 cm (measured at the highest point of the shoulder)
- Care instructions: Machine wash at 40°C, gentle cycle, not suitable for tumble drying
How to find the right size:
To determine your size based on your body measurements, please measure horizontally at the strongest point. For tops please orientate yourself on your chest measurement. If you are between two sizes, we recommend that you choose the larger size. Comfort additions are included in the cut. Please keep in mind that cotton fabrics are not very elastic.
