Medieval veil

The rectangular veil with headband is a timeless accessory for any historical or fantasy-inspired outfit. Inspired by authentic medieval headwear worn by women throughout Europe from the 12th to the 14th century, this piece is perfect for re-enactment, LARP, medieval markets, stage productions and living history. Whether as a humble peasant woman, a lady of the town or a person of high standing – this veil adds a stylish finishing touch to any portrayal.

The veil is made from lightweight, plain-woven 100% cotton fabric, which feels pleasantly soft against the skin and, thanks to its breathability, ensures comfort even during long events. The generous rectangular cut (70 cm × 200 cm) allows for a variety of draping styles: loose and flowing for a simple, modest look, neatly folded and pinned for a more structured appearance, or combined with a bonnet, pennant, headband or crown for more elaborate ensembles. The matching headband (fillet) included keeps the veil securely in place – no slipping, even after hours of wear.

Care is incredibly simple: the veil can be machine-washed, folded away to save space and restored to shape with a quick iron. Colour: White. Dimensions: 70 cm wide × 200 cm long. Weight: approx. 280 g.
