Viking tunic red linen
Flax is one of the oldest natural fibers for the production of linen fabrics. Linen clothing was an important component for the Romans and even the ancient Egyptians are said to have used linen fabrics. Linen fabric was also popular in the Middle Ages due to its dirt-repellent and breathable properties. In addition to these properties, linen is very robust, comfortable to wear, naturally antibacterial and suitable for allergy sufferers. Linen is hardly stretchable, but very stable - this low elasticity ensures that the fabric creases easily, which is why these creases in linen clothing are also called fine creases and are therefore part of the authentic look.
Our red Viking linen tunic is made from 100% linen. It has a long cut and widens towards the bottom, making it comfortable to wear. The Viking tunic has long sleeves and a slit at the neckline to make it easier to put on and take off. To complete the Viking outfit, the slit can be closed with a brooch. Brooches and other accessories are not included - but can be purchased separately in our store. With this Viking tunic, you are well equipped to look authentic at the next medieval market.

Care instructions: Linen can be washed in the washing machine at max. 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle at max. 400 revolutions per minute (with fine liquid detergent without bleach additives and without fabric softener). Preferably in a laundry bag or pillow and only with textiles of the same color. As linen absorbs a lot of moisture, we recommend soaking linen in plenty of water before the first wash. After washing, allow linen to air dry (not in the sun) - never put it in the tumble dryer! Linen creases nobly and is therefore generally not ironed.
ATTENTION: As linen shrinks during the first wash (5-10%), please take this into account when ordering sizes! The size information refers to the size of the clothing.
