Roman spatha blunt, type book podlodów, 3rd century AD

This Roman spatha is a reconstruction based on several original finds from the 3rd century. Based on the workmanship, this spartha is believed to have come mainly from Roman forges.

The Roman sword has a wide, double-edged blade made of spring steel EN45 with a double groove. The cutting edges of the blade are unsharpened. At the end of the handle screwed, there is the continuous blade tang. The hilt , the oval pommel, the octagonal handle and the guard were made of wood and brass.
